Cakes forevery birthdayat your office.

Upload your team's birthdays once. On each one, a cake with their name on top is at your San Diego office before lunch, and you get the photo.

From $65 a cake, delivered. First one free. No contract.

Free to set up. You add a card only after you have seen your first 60 days of cakes.

You see every cake before it's ordered.

This is what your account shows for the next 60 days. Weekend birthdays move to a workday, and anyone can be skipped until their cake goes to the bakery.

How office birthday cakes work here

Tell us where to deliver. Your office address and front desk hours. It takes two minutes.

Add your people. Paste from any spreadsheet, upload a CSV or Excel file, type them in, or send your team a link so each person adds their own birthday and allergies. Opted out and remote people are never charged.

We handle each cake. A cake with their name on top, for birthdays and work anniversaries, or one you send for a promotion or a holiday, is ordered from our bakery partners ahead of time, baked fresh by them, and delivered before lunch. You get a photo when it lands.

One invoice a month, only for the cakes that went out, each one listed by name.

What this replaces

Forty birthdays a year is forty small projects with no owner. Someone notices the date, someone gets asked, someone makes the run and fronts the money. This turns all of it into one form.

The usual way, per birthday

  • Notice the date, check who is in15 min
  • Ask someone, explain the budget and the person20 min
  • The drive, the line, the box on the back seat60 min
  • Personal card, expense report, approval25 min
  • Check it happened, cover when it did not10 min

About 2 hours of staff time, plus a cake on somebody's card.

With Cake Concierge

  • One form, once3 min
  • Add your people5 min
  • Planning every cake after that0 min

A photo by email when it lands, a note in your Slack. One invoice a month. No personal cards, no expense reports. You still get to cut it.

One cake per birthday: about 2 hours of staff time and a $20 cake the usual way, $65 for the Team cake or $115 for the half sheet with us, first one free. A shared cake: about 2 hours and a $30 sheet cake the usual way, $115 delivered with us. You pick the same thing at sign-up and can change it in Settings.

Every cake, with the price

Pick one for the whole office at sign-up. Any one person can have a different one, and you can change it any time in Settings. Prices are delivered, on one invoice a month. The first cake is free up to $65.

The first cake is free for teams of 5 or more, up to $65. A bigger cake as the first one bills only the difference. Founding price on Team cakes: the first 20 San Diego offices keep those prices for 12 months. After that, 30 days' notice before any change, and you can cancel any time.

Questions office managers ask

Where do you deliver office birthday cakes?

Across San Diego County, to the front desk before lunch on the day. Each cake comes from the bakery partner closest to your office.

Can we send a cake for a work anniversary, promotion, retirement or farewell?

Yes. Work anniversary cakes go out on their own once you choose which years to mark. A promotion cake, retirement cake or farewell cake for a coworker takes one click in your account with two workdays' notice.

Can you put our company logo on the cake?

Yes. A Signature cake has your logo printed on top and the name on a plaque, which makes it a corporate cake for client gifts as well. Team cakes carry the name piped in icing.

Can we pick the flavor?

Yes. Team cakes come in white or chocolate. Bakery cakes add marble, red velvet, fudge, cookies and cream and caramel, with a filling and buttercream or whipped frosting, and the name piped in the color you choose. Pick one for the office and change it for any one person.

What about allergies and dietary needs?

Each person can record allergies and dietary needs when they join your list, and gluten-free and vegan cakes are available on request. Every cake arrives with the bakery's own ingredient and allergen label.

How does billing work?

A card on file and one invoice a month that lists each delivered cake by name. Nobody fronts a personal card and nobody files an expense report. No contract, no minimum, and you can pause or cancel from your account at any time.

What if someone is remote, or would rather not have a cake?

Mark them remote or opted out and no cake is ordered and nothing is charged. Any single cake can be skipped until it goes to the bakery, and weekend birthdays move to the nearest workday.

We have 100 people. Does everyone get their own cake?

At 100, no, and you would not want 100 deliveries. You pick one cake a week, two a month, or one a month, and everyone born in that stretch shares it, names on top when they fit, otherwise the month. Up to about 40 people, each person gets their own cake. Pick it in Settings, or split the office into teams and each team gets its own cakes.

What happens after I sign up?

You add your people and see the next 60 days of cakes. Then you add a card, and we call to confirm the delivery address before the first cake. Each cake is ordered three business days ahead, so a birthday in the next three business days is too soon for the first one.

What does this replace?

Someone noticing the date, asking around, the drive and the line, a personal card and an expense report, and a check that it happened. About two hours of staff time per birthday, forty times a year for a forty-person office. Here it is one form and one invoice.

What if nobody is at the desk?

We call the mobile number on file and try again later on the route the same day. If it still cannot be handed over because the office is closed or the address is wrong, it may be billed, because the bakery has already made it. If it fails on our side, it is not billed.

Who is behind this?

One founder in San Diego and partner bakeries. We order, deliver and invoice. The bakeries bake. You get one email address and a person who answers it.
